Experience & Background
Andy founded the International Bike Fitting Institute (IBFI) in 2014 — the global professional body for bike fitters — and was the President for 10 years before passing it on. He holds an MRes in Sport and Exercise Science focused on cycling biomechanics, with paused doctoral research at Nottingham Trent University on ankle mechanics in time-trial cyclists. Previously Head of Biomechanics at Cyclologic, he now consults for bike brands on geometry and sizing alongside an active fitting practice in the region of Valencia. His approach is grounded in applied biomechanics and research — understanding the mechanisms behind position, not just adjusting it.
